I did stuff in April!
Getting to headline at The Magic Castle took months of hard work and preparation. Scott Pepper and I somehow convinced (or conned) the entertainment director into letting us have the largest showroom for a week. Scott sawed his assistant in half and levitated her (#magicstereotypes). I made someone's phone vanish and successfully made it reappear in a Amazon.com box from the back row (still waiting on that sponsorship phone call from Jeff Bezos ).
It was a dream come true to perform in the main theater at the world famous Magic Castle. And to get to be onstage with my wife and good friend Scott, made it all the better.
Then getting to hop back on Disney Cruise Line with my wife was a treat. We did a family show, a magic workshop, an adult show and a last min second family show when one of the Broadway show leads got injured minutes before they were supposed to do a second performance. I got a call at 7:45pm from the assistant cruise director to see if I could do another show at 8:30pm. I said, "Yes, but I will have to change out of my jammies first." My wife and I rushed to the stage, and were able to pull off a second show with 5 minutes to spare.
That's about it for now. May is filled with lots of public shows around Hollywood. You can take a look at my public calendar here.
Have a nice day.
